I LOVE this song…actually I LOVE the entire Back to Black Album, it’s one of those you can listen to all the way through without skipping any songs, and never get tired of it. Unfortunately, the video isn’t nearly as spectacular as the song, but hey, you can’t expect too much from a cracky! Hopefully she will lay off the rock soon because she truly is amazingly talented.

Beck takes it back to the 60s for his latest video and it’s awesome! I’m lovin both the song and the video. I just downloaded his new album but haven’t gotten a chance to listen to it yet. It’s getting awesome reviews though and if the rest of the album is as good as this song then I can see why.

Anybody who knows me knows I LOVE me some reggae! So I was excited when I started listening to this song because it has a nice reggae beat. Initially reminded me of Estelle, that reggae and r&b mixup, except this chick’s voice is way more gospel. I like the song..it would be way cooler though with Beenie Man or Lady Saw instead of Missy! I love Missy but I was longing to hear a real reggae artist over the beat!

By now you have probably heard the second single from Lil’ Wayne’s Tha Carter III, “A Milli” at least a milli times. Not to mention the countless remixes circulating, of which the one featuring Jay-Z is by far the best and would have made an awesome bonus track on The Carter III. Both Jay-Z and Kanye deliver absolutely sick verses on their respective C3 remixes. You get a real sense of competitiveness from them as they go against Lil’ Wayne’s verses and it’s simply great to see that fire from such heavy hitters. It’s something the game’s been missing for a while.
In case you went missing a few weeks, here’s the aforementioned remix featuring Jay-Z, and as an added bonus another remix featuring just Weezy giving thanks and shout outs.
